Augusto Soto leads the Dialogue with China Project, an independent electronic platform with intercontinental reach aimed at debating current affairs, intercultural and international issues, as well as promoting projects for a better understanding and interaction with China in the real world. Soto is a member of the Belt and Road Studies Network, Beijing, supporting editorial projects of China Today magazine, the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies, as well as collaborating with universities and think tanks in Europe, China and Latin America.

He has given lectures for several years at various universities and think tanks in Spain, European and Latin American programs, including educational initiatives at ESADE, plus team group with the Elcano Royal Institute (Madrid), including the Spain-China Relations Working Group and the Energy and Climate Change Working Group.
